Some dreams I dream them wide awake
Looking for smiles in the darkest corners,
Carrying your memory with me
Across the seas and mountains
I keep in my heart your kindness,
Laughter,
Love and care,
You were my best friend,
The only one who cared for me even when I didn’t deserve it.
i dream of cracking open skies,
of letting of terrible frights,
of tasting evil lies,
i dream of the day when you’ll come home to me,
cause i still have to give you back the gifts you gave to me.
My roads are not sunken,
I have not forgotten how to put
One foot in front of the other
And how to use my sword to cut vines.
Under the skies or under the waters,
I keep a steady pace and my eyes closed.
I see with my mind and feel where the road takes me,
While on the inside I keep dreaming my dreams.
